Anderson v1 pg254 - letter #240

You may read this out to those people. The matter is exactly us and not otherwise: I made the mistake listening to the promptings of pity. However, all this has taught me a good lesson –– The best thing for you to do is to make them come to your rooms tomorrow and to treat them sternly and with contempt. They both deserve it on account of the way they have behave to me ––

                                                        In haste, yours
